Customers often ask us, "where does the name 'Twelve Three' come from"? Geoff Boulden founded our company in 1993 after many years of working as Vice President of engineering at a large pressure-sensor manufacturer.  After some rough time spent with new management after an ownership change, he decided to take things into his own hands. With a wife and three children at home, he promised to start his own company.  Didn’t know what he intended to do yet, just that he wanted the freedom to do it on his own. He decided to leave his job and founded Twelve/Three Marketing, Inc. on the same day – December 3rd.

Twelve Three is a calendar date — not much more to it than that!

It’s an oddly inspirational name though, now that you know the story, of someone wanting to make a change for themselves and “taking the jump” into the unknown.
